A quick note regarding the NAR Settlement from Patrick Iler Real Estate.
Although the NAR Settlement requires significant changes to certain standards of practice, one thing the Settlement does not change is the ability for listing firms to offer buyer agent compensation, which most listing firms have been doing for decades.
Patrick Iler Real Estate believes the business model of offering compensation to buyer agents from the listing firm’s fee is the fairest, consumer friendly, and competitive method of being compensated, and enables brokers to provide the most competitive and highest level of service to their buyer and seller clients.
Therefore, it is our firm’s policy to offer buyer agent compensation to buyer agents whose clients purchase our listings. Buyer agent compensation for each listing is noted below. Please call our office for more information.
